Name: Kylee
Age: 1 year (Birthday: March 22, 2012)
Favorite Activity: Sitting on top of our little TV and watching our "Cat Sitter" DVD... especially the fish scenes.
Favorite Thing: My nursing bed. It is the bed my Momma Sarah nursed all of us in and it is my favorite thing to knead and nurse on.
My Ideal Day: TV watching, gracefully chasing and playing with my siblings, and talking to Mommy while I give her kisses and hugs.
Least Favorite Thing: People I don't know... especially if they are big.
Bad Habit:
Quirk: When I get really excited, I want pets (specifically bottom scratches)... while I eat fuzz. Yep, I scavenge for fuzz to eat while I purr and get my pets.
Fun Fact about Me: Out of all my siblings, I was the one who liked to "intimidate" the most.

My history pre-forever home: Apparently a family on the military post had moved and purposely left their pregnant cat behind. The cat had her babies: all 5 (I was one of those babies). A neighbor had seen/understood the whole situation and took them in for a few days. Later they took the momma and her 5 fresh kittens to the pound. I was one of those kittens.
Foster History: Soon after my sweet brother Griffin was put down I started to get really sick with the same respiratory issues he had. It was a very scary time. My foster mommy and her rescue friend did not think I would make it. They worked with me for about 2 weeks...wrapping me in a towel like a burrito and putting a tube down my throat to my belly so they could tube feed me (I wasn't eating on my own). It was dreadful but I am so thankful for them because one day I started nursing from my Momma Sarah again! I got stronger and stronger and now I am all better!

(Here are some cute pictures of me as a tiny kitten.)
How I became a part of the family: I was so tiny for a long time. It took me about an extra month in comparison to my sibling just to reach my weight for my spay surgery. Once weighed in and got spayed, my foster mommy (now my forever mommy) would take me to and from Petsmart every morning and evening for months with my sister Athena. No one seemed to want us to be a part of their family. After a month or two passed, mommy was about to move away to a different state. At this time she decided she just couldn't part with me. Our bond we created through this whole journey was just too strong.
